What is a Vinyl sticker/decal?
Unlike ordinary stickers, vinyl stickers are much more durable and better quality. The image is cut onto coloured vinyl material then layered to make the image if multiple colours.
Vinyl material is suitable for internal or external, flat, non-pouress surfaces. It is weather proof and uv resistant so the colours stay bright.
Where can I apply my transfer sticker?
The vinyl can be placed on most flat non-pouress surfaces. They are most commonly used for car stickers but can be found on shop windows. They are ideal to stick on laptops, windows, doors and walls.
We do advise that with household painted surfaces that the glue will possibly remove the paint when removing. When removing from other surfaces such as cars the paint will not lift and no residue or permanent marks will be left when removed correctly.
How do I apply my vinyl sticker?
Clean the area thoroughly with soap and water. Do not use a glass cleaner because it will leave a residue behind that will prevent the sticker from adhering well.
Rub a squeegee or credit card firmly across the sticker through the clear transfer tape to prepare it for application. This ensures the sticker will cling to the transfer tape and removes any air bubbles that may have formed.
Peel the white paper backing off the sticker. If the sticker clings to the backing, slowly replace the paper backing and repeat Step 2.
Slowly lower the sticker onto the surface and rub it in place firmly with a squeegee or credit card. For best results, wait 24 hours before moving to the next step.
Slowly peel the clear transfer tape off at an angle. Be careful not to pull the sticker off the surface. If sticker pulls away from the surface repeat Step 4
